Oleg Shikunov is a very talented, dynamic and enthusiastic piano teacher. He is passionate about sharing the joy of music with his students. Oleg is very flexible, patient, modern and innovative. He individualizes according to the student’s needs and interests. We really appreciate Oleg’s ability and willingness to incorporate different genres of music while maintaining a strong emphasis on classical. My son is having lots of fun and he especially enjoys improvising music with Oleg. We highly recommend Oleg!
Oleg is a fantastic piano teacher. He is enthusiastic, encouraging, patient and adept at building rapport with our daughter, who is almost five years old. Despite the fact that learning to play the piano can be a challenging endeavor for a young child, Oleg has ensured that each lesson with our daughter has been enjoyable, engaging and educational. It is a testament to Oleg's capabilities as a teacher that my daughter has chosen to continue with and looks forward to her lessons. I wholeheartedly recommend Oleg to any parent seeking a piano teacher for a young child.

My children, Kelly age 8, and Paul age 6 1/2, are doing so great by studying with Oleg. Each week they progress with their studies. They are learning to play the piano, as well as music theory. Oleg is a wonderful instructor who is very encouraging and patient. The kids also love the fun games he plays with them to better understand the music. They look forward to their lessons each week, and also remember to practice on their own. I highly recommend Oleg to anyone who is looking for lessons in their home. He is always on time, and makes great use of the time he has with each of them. I am very happy with our decision to
have Oleg become our children's mentor.
I am pleased to recommend Oleg Shikunov for his outstanding piano teaching ability. His high-energy approach to each lesson makes the experience very intense and productive. As an adult student, I particularly appreciate Oleg’s patience and encouragement. He participates fully in the process, even on occasion playing one hand to illustrate a point. Like many good teachers, he’s always a step or two ahead. And in Oleg’s case, he brings the discipline of the distinguished Moscow Conservatory into the equation as well. In my opinion, he would be a particularly appropriate choice for gifted students.
